We have had more snow this winter than any winter in recent memory so I decided to make some snowman cupcakes. They were really quick and easy to make and I think they turned out pretty cute.
Make some cupcakes using any recipe you want. I almost always use a mix because if I am going to make something from scratch it is going to be the frosting. Go here for my buttercream frosting recipe. Frost the cupcakes and then dunk them in some Wilton's white sparkling sugar. This gives the effect of snow. Place regular chocolate chips for the eyes and mini chocolate chips for the mouth. Cut an orange gumdrop in half and then cut like pie pieces to get the nose.
I love how each one seems to have its own personality!
Give these a try!
